@AntiRug Not if toggling this is an option in the Settings tab of the M panel. You can just turn it off.

This is a tiny little thing but I thought it was worth suggesting nonetheless I believe a lot of people (especially the office gamers) would appreciate it if a notification system similar to the current PM notification system was implemented for clan chat as well. The MTA function for this is client-sided so it's possible to have an option to toggle this and if it's disabled by default, I don't see any negatives from implementing this. Way too many "hey"s have gone unnoticed because this isn't a thing yet.. How it looks like for PMs in case you haven't seen this before:
